Policies & Booking Information
At Soft Light Studio, we take pride in offering a portrait experience that is as thoughtful, empowering, and seamless as the final images. The following policies help us protect your time, our time, and the integrity of the creative process.
Booking & Deposit
All sessions must be scheduled using our Calendly booking page. A 50% non-refundable deposit ($150) is required at the time of booking to secure your session. This deposit is applied toward your $300 sitting fee, with the remaining balance due on the day of your session.
Sitting Fee
The $300 sitting fee covers:

Your reserved session time

Pre-session consultation and styling guidance

Full shoot experience with posing support

Access to a private proofing gallery
The sitting fee is credited in full toward your image package purchase.
Cancellation & Rescheduling
We ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for all cancellations or rescheduling. One-time reschedules are permitted with appropriate notice. Cancellations within 48 hours or no-shows will result in a forfeited deposit. A new deposit will be required to rebook.
Late Arrivals
Please plan to arrive 10 minutes early. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late may have their session time reduced or be asked to reschedule, depending on availability.
Refund Policy
All deposits, session fees, and image purchases are non-refundable. Due to the custom and creative nature of each session, we are unable to offer refunds once a session is booked or images are delivered.
Additional Image Pricing
Each package includes a set number of professionally retouched digital images.
